I fully understand what you're saying. That GOOD is more interested in the ethnography of The World Cup than FIFA, but you cannot say that by promoting The World Cup (giving it room on your blog and elsewhere) that you're not, in effect, promoting it. Promoting an event that, yes, is about a sport but it's a sporting competition built upon the lives of those that FIFA harms and exploits. For all that you DO advocate, you'd think that the corruption of The World Cup would be worth taking a stand.
